YouTube for Android has received support for dark theme and the web version of the service has learned to adapt to vertical videos

Several innovations have received a YouTube video: mobile version of the app for Android has finally received the support of dark themes, and the web version of YouTube is now able to adapt to vertical videos.

Dark YouTube theme had already appeared in the iOS version of the app, as well as in the web version of the service. Now came the turn and the Android application. However, the update is distributed gradually, so this functionality may appear over time. To enable the dark theme, you need to tap on your profile, go to Settings -> General (Settings -> General) and enable the corresponding item.

As for the web version of YouTube, she got a new player that better adapts to different aspect ratios. If you run YouTube vertical video, it will automatically adjust to the size of the player and will be shown without black bars at the sides.
