While participating in the MWC 2018 Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, ​​Spain, the company unveiled its new prototype Vivo APEX phone, which shows the future concept of smartphones, and although it is still a prototype, it shows many possibilities you may have Mobile devices in the coming years.

This handset includes a built-in fingerprint sensor that covers almost half of the screen, so that the sensor is in the lower half of the entire screen, making it much easier to process, with a response speed of 0.7 milliseconds, and a 8 megapixel front camera hidden within the retractable chassis And out of the top when needed within 0.8 seconds.

The phone does not have a standard headset on the front, and the company replaced it with SoundCasting technology that makes the screen vibrating to produce sound, which consumes less power compared to the normal voice methods, along with a design that provides the edges of thickness 1.8 mm in three aspects , With a fourth edge of 4.3 mm thickness, and the presence of ambient sensors and proximity sensor within the screen.

In terms of other specifications, the phone model includes a traditional 3.5 mm headphone port, with a dual external speaker and a dual rear camera, with a cooling technology that prevents its temperature rise, and a larger battery by reducing the circuit board space by about 60 percent.

This design is unlikely to match the final form of the product, but it is proof of the next biometrics authentication techniques, such that the half-screen sensor may be present in the next few years, along with very thin edges and retractable front cameras.
