The Firefox browser on the iPhone prevents tracking from websites

If the scandal of privacy on Facebook has sparked your interest, you might be also interested to know that the Firefox browser on the iPhone, iPad gives now Web sites from tracking you on the net and find things that relate to them.

Firefox got a feature that allows protection from tracking, grant tracking software embedded in the websites and advertising companies such as Google and Facebook from tracking you on the internet, which is now an option by default on the browser version, as the company said.

It is not yet clear whether Mozilla plans to expand the feature in the version of the browser on the operating systems, but are likely to do so.

  1. When I initially commented I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the same comment There has to be an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Thank you!|
