The Clock app has added support for Google Assistant Routines

Google continues to develop its virtual assistant Google Assistant. The upcoming update will bring support Routines in Clock and one or two more.

In a short time while installing the alarm in the Clock app, users will see the Google Assistant Routines. It will allow you to configure the actions that will be performed automatically after you turn off the alarm clock. For example, you can program the assistant to tell you about the weather on the day, traffic jams, to-do list and the latest news.

Google has also improved the function of Broadcast. This feature allows you to send messages from your smartphone on the smart column or display. Now users will be able to reply to these messages with the smart speakers or a smart display.


Another improvement was regarding a section of recipes for smart displays. Now users will see recommended recipes, so they can diversify their meals. By the way, the recipes will not appear randomly, but in accordance with time of day and season, for example, in the morning you will be offered Breakfast recipes.
