Streaming service from Roku now available on the web

Announced Roku today is the day that the streaming service free ad-supported The Roku Channel, now available on the web for computers, tablets and smart phones. Prior to that, users can access the channel only if they have the device the Roku TV or streaming device.

After you create an account Roku on TheRokuChannel.com, which will include the broadcast of movies and TV shows short video clips provided by the service.

Services include The Roku Channel many free movies from Paramount and Sony Pictures and Lionsgate, and Warner Bros and others. They also contain a lot of content old like, The Matrix, 50 First Dates, Nacho Libre, and Wayne’s World 2. There is also a Live news feed from ABC News and Newsy and PeopleTV and Cheddar and others.

Added Roku also a new section called “Featured Free” to the main menu, which combines the programs and movies that you can stream for free directly from its partners.

Similar to the app application Apple TV to some extent, in that it sheds light on the content itself rather than the network that issued it. Has added Roku some of the major sites to the list of “Featured Free”, which will be available at the top of the screen when you put it up in the United States during the coming weeks.
