There was a rumor earlier this month reported that Samsung is considering changing the names of the phones Galaxy S for the future. Due to the fact that in the year 2019, it will be supposed on Samsung use of the name Galaxy S10 phone its next flagship, while that name is completely legitimate, it doesn’t look good when it comes to branding.

Now according to a new report released recently from the website of The Investor, it appears that Samsung is considering changing the names of its smart phones leading the future. This is according to a session of questions and answers with the head of Department of mobile devices at Samsung, Mr. DJ Koh who asked if there were plans to abandon the brand Galaxy S in its phones leading the future, replied Mr. DJ Koh said : ” although Samsung will stick with the Galaxy, we think about whether we need to keep the subsequent S or numbering system “.

Note that the response DJ Koh is not a confirmation that Samsung will change the names of its smart phones leading the future, but it seems that the South Korean company think about it at least. As we have said, from the brand point of view it makes sense, this is also done by Apple with the iPhone X.

Whether they will it or not, you still can’t wait to see it, and will Samsung on its smart phones leading the future is still uncertain, especially since previous rumors hinted that the brand Galaxy X was booked for smartphones folding coming from the South Korean company.
