In August 2018, Samsung unveiled its first smartphone that runs on the operating system Android Go. He got the name Galaxy Core J2 and joined the line of budget devices. Despite the minimal specifications, the company has guaranteed a smooth operation thanks to the “Lite” version of the system with lightweight versions. It looks like the budget smartphone will have a new version, and it will be much more attractive.

Information about the successor Samsung Galaxy Core J2 managed to find this error on one of the Brazilian online stores. The coming novelty will receive the name Galaxy Core and J4 will get an enhanced display, giving it a more expensive look.

If the diagonal is 6 inches, the resolution will be 720×1480 pixels with a density of 274 ppi. For comparison, the J2 model Galaxy Core has a modest 5-inch screen with a resolution of 540×960 pixels with 220 ppi density.

In terms of performance the device will remain the same as the predecessor. The role of the processor will perform a 14-nanometer Exynos 7570 chipset with four 1.4 GHz cores Cortex-A53. The amount of RAM is 1 GB, and the capacity of the USB flash drive will increase to 16 GB.

The back houses a camera of 8 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.2 and the ability to capture Full HD video. To the front there is a 5-megapixel camera with led flash.

Along with display and memory, the company will increase the battery capacity to 3,300 mAh and the smartphone will be equipped with support for faster charging. It will be hidden under the chassis in black, blue or Golden color.
