Qualcomm reveal about the Processor Snapdragon Wear 2500 specifically for smart watches for children

It’s been a long time since the last time the Qualcomm issue a new processor for smart watches, more than two years to be exact. However, this change now that the American company launched a new processor for smart watches geared for children under the name of Snapdragon Wear 2500 at Mobile World Congress, currently held in the capital of economic Chinese Shanghai. The company will launch Snapdragon processor Wear for smart watches and high-end later this year as promised before.

Hosting company Qualcomm growing market for smart watches for children through the launch of the Processor Snapdragon Wear 2500. Has been designed for this new processor to consume a small amount of energy in order to provide longer battery life up to 14 percent through the regular modes and activities compared with previous processors.

Will this new processor to enable children to stay in touch with their families and learning through access to rich content, as well as keeping fit and active throughout the day. Moreover, this processor has the ability to support camera resolutions up to 5 megapixels, and support for networks fourth-generation LTE, as well as support the possibility of the location tracking so that parents can get peace of mind.

Comes processor Snapdragon Wear 2500 with an enhanced version of Android designed specifically for smart watches for children. This own version is based on Android Oreo can be placed in memory with a capacity of 512MB. This version of Android is also designed to consume less power by turning off features not needed and adding features exist mainly for children.

Smart watches equipped with this processor will reach the market later this year. And Huawei, one of the first companies to work with Qualcomm to develop a smart watch for children featuring the wizard Snapdrgaon Wear 2500.
