At the end of 2018 out of Lego bricks was assembled virtually impossible, at first glance, the design of the working copy of the Bugatti Chiron. It weighed 1.5 tonnes, which is not surprising: parts of steel, real wheels, batteries, mechanical spoiler and even the motor. The Lego company did not want to stop there, and provided a copy of the McLaren car Senna, which fully matches the size of the original and even surpasses it in weight.

Team selection fell on a Lego model of the McLaren Senna due to its exclusivity — it is only released in 500 copies value of 837 000$. Uniqueness also adds to the fact that each of them will be hand-built in our own factory McLaren in the English County of Surrey, and at the moment they are all already sold out.

The Assembly of the car engaged a team of 42 engineers who worked in shifts — 2725 total spent man-hours. If we add days, during which was conducted the design and development, the duration is increased to 4935 hours. The car took half a million Lego bricks. It was somehow similar to the original, the team used some real details: for example, carbon seat, steering wheel, pedals, badges with the company logo, wheels and tires.

Copy equipped entertainment system, lights and doors. Unfortunately, it is not capable of moving as last year’s model of the Bugatti Chiron, which developed a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. However, when I press the button to start the copy makes realistic car sounds, moving at the speed of 335 kilometers per hour.
