NVIDIA plans to introduce a graphics card of a family 20xx next month

According to available information, NVIDIA announces a new generation of graphics cards code-named “Turing” at a technology conference in San Jose in late March or at the event on April 12.

Graphics cards will be built on the architecture of Ampere, Volta and not, as previously assumed. The top models GeForce GTX and GeForce GTX 2070 2080 will get GPU GA104. It is reported that the performance of the GeForce GTX 2070 will be at the level of performance of the current GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

Also, there are rumors that the new NVIDIA video cards will be able to block mining cryptocurrency at the hardware level. Probably, thus the company decided to fight the miners, whose demand for graphics cards has caused a shortage of devices on the market.

As for graphics accelerators, Volta, most likely they will remain in demand for professional use only.
