Netflix choose a new way to avoid payment of 30% of the value of subscriptions for Apple

Netflix is one of the most popular apps on the Apple App Store. The app itself is available for free download but users are required to buy a subscription if they wish to have access to a library of films and series and television programs. As you probably know, the company Apple get 30 percent of the value of subscriptions. Given that Netflix is the service of movies and series the most popular on the Internet, you can imagine the amount of revenue that you get Apple TV out of the service by deduction of 30 percent of the value of subscriptions. However, it turns out now that Netflix choose a new way to circumvent it in 33 new market.

Won’t be able to users of Netflix in selected markets in Latin America, Europe and Asia pay a fee to their cable using iTunes until September 30. Will be instead redirected to the web version portable from Netflix where they will have to enter payment information directly.

Means re-directing participants to the location of the Netflix web site to process payment not made through iTunes. Can Netflix avoid paying 30 percent of the value of subscriptions for Apple. However, it remains to be seen whether the company will be based on this way permanently or not.
