I’ve confirmed that Microsoft recently announced that it has conducted an internal reorganization of the major will pave the way for the company to implement future growth strategies. The company has dismantled the team work the Windows Devices Group, which also led to the departure of its president, Mr. Terry Myerson. A new report reveals that Microsoft has also stopped the process of the development of some applications that ship with Windows 10 in order to provide more engineers to work on the browser Microsoft Edge.

The report from the website Thurrott stating that the company bring the basis of Microsoft has stopped the process of the development of some applications that already come with Windows 10, such as weather and stocks. According to the engineers who were working on these applications are now part of the team which oversees the development of browser Microsoft Edge.

Not detected applications that will be directly affected of such changes in the report, but it will most likely be apps weather, stocks and news. Can easily get the services provided by these applications on the web, so it won’t be surprising to know whether those apps are the ones that will be affected by this change.

However, it remains to be seen whether this change will affect applications such as mail, calendar, and applications that can be said to have a larger user base on Windows 10 compared to the applications mentioned above. I didn’t know Microsoft on this report until now, so there is not currently a formal denial or official confirmation of this until now.
