Microsoft Office is now available in the Mac App Store

This is the first set of applications that was possible to buy in the store.

As Apple promised at WWDC in June last year, Microsoft Office 365 is finally available in the Mac App Store. Thus, you can install Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive in just a couple of clicks. You can also subscribe to Office 365 within the application.

By the way, this is the first time Apple offers a set of apps in its store. Previously, you had to download Office 365 directly from Microsoft (OneNote, you can download in the store separately).

Office 365, you can try a month for free, after which you need to pay $59.99 for a personal license (or $79.99 for a home license that lets you use apps six users).
