Microsoft confirms transfer browser Microsoft Edge to Chromium, and for other operating systems

Microsoft Edge

Earlier this week, rumors that the company Microsoft is developing a new version of the browser Microsoft Edge based on the platform Chromium. Now, confirmed the US company Microsoft is the validity of these rumors, and explained to us as well as you’ll find this new browser to other platforms, including Windows 7 and Windows 8 and MacOS.

Returning to the previous reports, I suggested that the new browser you are working on Microsoft carries the code name Anaheim is based on Chromium, the same engine used by Google Chrome. By doing this step, it is likely to see Microsoft give up once and for EdgeHTML.

The new version of the browser Microsoft Edge which is based on Chromium will become the default browser in the new Windows 10, but what does this mean Switch users? This basically means that if the user usually uses Google Chrome, it will get the same user experience on Microsoft’s new browser.

For example, if you install Windows 10 on the computer, one of the first things you can do is download and install the browser Google Chrome, but because the user experience is relatively similar, you can instead keep using the new browser from Microsoft Corporation.

Unfortunately, there is currently no information about the launch date of the new version of the browser Microsoft Edge, but previous reports hinted to the possibility of this happening sometime during the first half of next year.
