Lots of RAM does not happen. Lenovo introduced a laptop for VR with 128 GB RAM

Lenovo announced the release of a powerful notebook ThinkPad P52, which is designed to resolve serious resource-intensive tasks and to work with virtual reality headsets.

Lenovo ThinkPad P52-equipped 15.6″ display. In the top configuration available to the buyer of a 4K panel (3840×2160 pixels) with a brightness of 400 CD/m2 and 100% coverage of Adobe RGB color spaces.


The notebook can be equipped with a processor Intel Xeon and NVIDIA Quadro video card P3200. RAM may be available up to 128 GB, and total capacity could reach 6 TB.

Interfaces are three USB Type-A 3.1, two USB Type-C/3 Thunderbolt, HDMI 2.0, mini DisplayPort 1.4. There are modules Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0. Optionally, you can install a 4G modem.

Lenovo ThinkPad P52 will go on sale later this month. About the cost of the device are not yet known.
