ISS rejected one of the suits

Space suit NASA astronaut nick Hague, in which he was supposed to go aboard Mejdunarodnoi space station into space on March 29 with Christine cook refused. As informs Agency RIA Novosti, citing a source in the Russian rocket and space industry, this suit was used by Haig on March 22, when he, together with Anne, McClain has produced works for the installation of the new lithium-ion batteries outside of the ISS.

We will remind that earlier the Agency reported that the first ever spacewalk of two women — American women Anne McClain and Kristina Cooke, originally scheduled for March 29, will not take place. The problem, again in the suit. Or rather its availability. Similar in size to suit McClane aboard the station are not available, so access is only one. It’ll go to Christina cook. McClain was taken to replace nick Hague. Will use a backup suit.

“According to information from the American side, during a spacewalk on March 22, in the suit nick Hague identified the fault of the pressure sensor. In this regard, NASA decided that the Hague will use a different spacesuit to exit 29 of March”, — said the interlocutor of the Russian news Agency.

During the exit March 29, the astronauts will have to continue on 22 March work – the replacement of four batteries for new in the power supply system of the American segment of the ISS.

Now aboard the International space station crew of six people: two Russians Oleg Kononenko and Alexei Ovchinin, Americans Anne McClain, nick Hague and Christine cook, and canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques.
