iMac (21.5”, Late 2013) – speed bump, but not quite…

Intel Core fourth generation (Haswell)

iMac 2013 surpassed last year’s, but very slightly. In all configurations of the iMac with a diagonal of 21.5 inches (55.6 cm) between the processor and chipset, there was neither bus nor DMI – they were connected “directly” through OnPackage Interface (OPI). The type of RAM in all iMac with a 56-cm diagonal was the same, and exactly the same as his counterparts from 2012. PC3-12800 (1,600 MHz) DDR3 SDRAM. The two initial configurations consisted of 8 Gigabytes of memory in the online store, its size can be increased to 16 Gigabytes ($200).

Apple wanted to convince the customers, the finality selected during the order of the size of installed RAM – and most of the buyers believed in the descent of good fire. Processors
