How to learn all the shortcuts for apps on macOS

The use of keyboard shortcuts increases significantly the productivity and speed when working with applications. However, even experienced users do not always know about all the combinations. Apple have not provided a simple method through which you can view all available keyboard shortcuts, so we resort to the use of the software, which will help us to do it.

We are talking about the program CheatSheet. Using a simple overlay you can see all the keyboard shortcuts. The app is completely free and compatible with OS X 10.9 and newer. Download here.

  • Move our program in the “Program.”
  • Run, the program will work in the background.
  • Select the application, the combination of which we need to learn, and open it.
  • Hold down Command for a few seconds. The result is a similar window (for example Safari).

All keyboard shortcuts are assigned to categories, which is certainly very convenient for memorization. For quick access you can just choose a combination here.

It is worth noting that the application CheatSheet is not integrated in the status line is not displayed in the dock bar. Therefore, in order to disable this program, run it. The setup is performed when calling window combinations, selecting the gear icon in the lower right corner.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear She placed the shell to her ear and screamed There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear She never wants to go back!
