How easy it is to transfer photos from iPhone to PC

Microsoft has announced the international release of the Photo app Companion for iOS. With its help, users to Windows 10 will be able to easily export photos and videos from their iPhone and iPad. The application is free and is already available in the Russian App Store.

  • To use simplified export, upload Photos Companion to your smartphone or tablet;
  • Now on your PC launch the Photos app and navigate to the settings by pressing the “…” in the upper right corner;
  • Open the “Settings” tab and scroll through the list of available actions down to the section “Preliminary evaluation”;
  • Here activate the switch under the line “Help Microsoft to test the import feature via Wi-Fi on mobile devices”, then close the Photos app and open it again;
  • Click on the popup in the top right corner press “Import” and select “From a mobile device over Wi-Fi”;
  • Then run the Companion Photos on your smartphone or tablet, select “Send photos” and scan appears on the computer screen QR code, give the app access to camera and photos and export selected files.
