Google has added the Gmail app for Android sensitive mode

Google has officially started the distribution of sensitive mode in Gmail for mobile devices. The representatives of the company wrote on his Twitter page. Innovation became available to users iOS and Android with the latest update that came out earlier this week.

Sensitive mode in Gmail is a kind of counterpart to secret chats in messengers. The sender may, at its discretion, set password for message and method of delivery, the period after which the message will be deleted, and manually stop access to it.

How to disable message forwarding

According to Google developers, private mode prevents unwanted dissemination of private correspondence to third parties, protecting the message from forwarding. However, nothing prevents the recipient to take a screenshot of the message and send it to strangers already.

How to send a private message in Gmail

To send a confidential letter, press the key “Write”, go to the message context menu by clicking the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and choose “Privacy mode”, then configure the settings and press “Save”.
