Galaxy S10 on Snapdragon and Exynos: which flagship is more powerful?

In the second half of November, insiders revealed details about the Galaxy S10. Anniversary the flagship of Samsung will announce in February next year, and the model will be available in three versions. The first will be more budget and it will have a relatively small screen without a built-in fingerprint scanner. The other two this feature get. The device will also be traditionally different chip inside the case. The winner in the battle between Exynos and Snapdragon is already defined.

Combatants steel Exynos and Snapdragon 855 9820, reports SamMobile. Samsung’s chip will be OCTA-core and 8 nm. It can handle recording 8K video at 30 frames per second and will support displays with resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 pixels. The role will act as the graphics ARM Mali-G76 MP12.

With Snapdragon 855 the situation is different. Here the 7-nanometer process technology, Adreno 640 in place of the graphic processor and recording 4K videos at 60 frames per second. Cores will be eight: one Cortex A76 2.84 GHz, Cortex three-A76 2.42 GHz and four A55 with a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz.

Both versions received a LPDDR4x memory and support dual main camera.

Enthusiasts have compared the ability of chips and shared the results. In the test participated Kirin and Snapdragon 845 980. In most races the flagship Qualcomm came out the winner. Reporters noted that the performance of the Snapdragon 855 are very close to the results of the latest generation of Apple A12.

Three model Galaxy S10 will receive model number SM-G970x, SM-G973x SM-G975x. The smartphone will be available in black, white, yellow, and green body colors. The last two shades will fall on all markets. Probably not without new colors, but after the release of the flagship.
