Audio books are now available for purchase on the Google Play Store

After years of selling e-books only, Google announced today that it has added audio books to the Google Play Store. Will be an audio book available in 45 countries around the world and in different languages.

Just like e-books, you will be audio books available for purchase without any subscription service like Audible. Thus, this means that after purchase, you’ll be an audio book available to listen to them across all platforms, including web and application Google Play Books on Android devices and iOS devices and Chromecasts and Google Home and Android Wear and Android Auto. It will sync your progress so you can start listening to the audio book on one device and complete the process listening on another device at a later time. You can also ask the digital assistant Google Account on any device running your audio books will start running audio book the last terms of the timing.

You can now buy talking books from the Google Play Store on the web and on Android. Users can iOS run talking books from Google Play Books but they can’t buy it only from the web.
