Android P was still available for 18 new smartphones

Modular based Project Treble that separates low level from high level, has allowed to port pre-assembled Android P by at least 16 mobile devices, said the developers team XDA. And that’s not counting those models that officially support the update.

What smartphones support Android P

At the time of publication the opportunity to install the beta version of the Android P owners have the following smartphones:

How to install Android P

Since many of their list do not offer Project Treble out of the box, you need to install the firmware with the unofficial support of modular architecture. It will be able to provide a software platform LineageOS 15.1, which is available for download absolutely free of charge on the project website.

Before you install the firmware with support for Project Treble or Android P, make sure you are ready for it. Portable rollup unable to ensure the stability of the release, especially if we are talking about a version not intended for operation on selected devices.
