Acer showed the first tablet on Chrome OS

Acer presented tablet Chromebook Tab 10, which was the first such device with the operating system Chrome OS on Board.

The tablet is designed primarily for educational purposes. It is equipped with a 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. Inside the device is a Rockchip chipset, OP1, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. Internal storage can be expanded via microSD card slot.

Chromebook Tab 10 has got 5 MP main and 2 MP front camera. There is Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C 3.1, and 3.5 mm audio Jack. Battery capacity is 34 watts*hours, which should be enough for 9 hours of work.

The device supports installation of Android apps. Also included is a Wacom EMR stylus to draw and create handwritten notes.

Acer Chromebook 10 Tab goes on sale in April this year at a price of $ 329.
